AMBIT Youth Ltd (referred to as “the organisation”) is committed to creating a fair, inclusive, and respectful environment where everyone is valued and supported. We actively promote equality, diversity, accessibility, and inclusion (EDAI) in all areas of our work and are committed to eliminating unlawful discrimination.

This policy applies to all staff, volunteers, trustees, contractors, children, young people, families, partners, and members of the public who engage with AMBIT Youth Ltd.

Any behaviour that undermines dignity and respect will be taken seriously and addressed promptly.
Complaints may be raised by staff, volunteers, children, young people, families, or members of the public and will be managed through the organisation’s grievance, complaints, or disciplinary procedures. Serious breaches may constitute gross misconduct and could result in dismissal. Certain forms of harassment, including sexual harassment, may also constitute a criminal offence under relevant legislation.

The organisation recognises that individuals, as well as the employer, may be held legally accountable for acts of discrimination, harassment, or victimisation carried out during the course of their work.
Monitoring and Review

AMBIT Youth Ltd will:

Monitor workforce diversity data (where lawfully collected) to support inclusion and equality

Review the effectiveness of this policy and any associated action plans annually

Take action to address any identified inequalities or barriers
This policy is fully supported by senior leadership and aligns with best practice guidance for youth organisations in the UK.

Accessibility and Inclusion for Children and Young People

AMBIT Youth Ltd welcomes all children and young people across the communities we serve, regardless of background, identity, or ability.
We are committed to removing barriers to participation and making reasonable adjustments to ensure that children and young people can access and benefit from our activities.
