Our Work
AMBIT Youth Holiday Club supports young people aged 13–16 by creating safe, welcoming spaces where they can thrive, build confidence and discover new interests. Our focus is on exposing young people to experiences, activities and creative pathways they may not otherwise have access to, helping them explore what they enjoy and who they want to become.
Through fun, engaging programmes, young people are encouraged to try new things, express themselves, and develop skills at their own pace. We believe that with the right opportunities, support and encouragement, every young person has the potential to grow, feel empowered and imagine a positive future.
April 2025, our activities included:
✅ Yoga & Boxing Sessions – Promoting fitness, strength, and mindfulness.
✅ Trip to Oxygen Freejumping Trampoline Park
✅ Sip and Paint - a choice of delicious smoothies and wellness session
✅ In-Store Shopping Challenge – Learning budgeting skills while making smart food choices.
✅ "Prepare Your Own Wrap & Salad" Workshop – Hands-on cooking and nutrition education.
✅ Youth First Aid session delivered by British Red Cross
DECEMBER 2024
We explored Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths in creative ways with a Forensic science workshop, escape room challenge and Power Up gaming station at The Science Museum trips and spent a day engineering our own BBC Micro:bits.
For Summer 2024 and in line with Paris Olympics, we embarked on a fitness journey with:
Boxing bootcamp - sessions delivered by Boxivation with a trip to Croydon Boxing Academy
Football sessions delivered by coach Hugo with a trip to Air Thrill inflatable park
Fitness and Wellbeing week with Hiit Fitness training sessions with Raw FitnessTrip with a trip to FlipOut
Athletics week with trips to local leisure centres to swim, play badminton, basketball and Ninja Warrior UK
MUSIC & MENTORING
From DJ workshop with DJ Greeny to spoken word and creative writing session with Jamz, our young people had the opportunity to create their own music and content to go with it! We also took a trip to sky academy studios - click to watch our full video here!
